Chouquettes with pecans, ice-cream and chocolate

I have already presented you the incredibly light and puffy chouquettes that are very popular in France.
As you maybe noticed on pictures (or maybe you have already done them!) they are empty inside! Since decades it has been inspiring chefs to fill them with delicious creams. 🙂
Here I would like to present you an idea for chouquettes with crashed pecans, ice-cream and chocolate. 😀

You will need:
♥  10 chouquettes (click here to see how to to chouquettes)
♥  4-5 spoons of vanilla ice-creams
♥  big handful of pecans
♥  30g of dark chocolate
♥  1 teaspoon of butter

1. Mix Ice-cream with crashed pecans. Do it as rapidly as possible so the ice-cream do not melt too much.

2. Put the ice-creams back in the freezer for around 10-15min.

3. Melt the chocolate with butter. Cut the chouquettes in half and fill them with ice-creams.

4. Pour some chocolate over chouquettes, decorate with pecans and serve right away! 🙂
