Broccoli & Tuna Quiche (VIDEO)

Making a savory tart (quiche) is my trick to quickly prepare a yummy meal for a group of people. It’s great as a family dinner or for a brunch with fiends. This time I’m proposing you a Quiche with Tuna and Broccoli ♥

Quantities to make 4-5 generous portions:
* My oven dish is 32cm in diameter
♥ Shortcrust pastry (check this post to see how to make it from scratch)
♥ 500g broccoli
♥ 8 eggs
♥ 1,5 cup (335ml) cream (30% fat)
♥ 4 tbs grated cheese
♥ 1 tsp capers
♥ 1 can tuna (140g)
♥ Salt

  1. If you are making your short crust pastry, start with it because it will need to rest in the fridge for 30min before we can use it. But it’s also OK to you a store-bought pastry.
  2. Put the pastry sheet inside a baking dish and bake for 10min at 180°C
  3. While it’s baking prepare the tuna+egg mixture. Mix 4 eggs with 3/4 cup of cream, tuna, capers and salt
  4. Carefully remove the pastry from the oven and spread in the broccoli florets on the bottom. Cover it with tuna+egg mixture and in the same bowl mix the remaining 4 eggs with 3/4 cup of cream and grated cheese. Pour this cheese+egg mixture over the quiche.
  5. Bake it at 180°C for about 30min. After this time the quiche should be golden brown and its center set. Enjoy ♥
